Jyothisha Deeksha Mantram

Any one who is an astrologer himself should first chant the following mantras before he starts predicting on the horoscope in his hand. Before this mantra he should connect himself with Saptha Rishies and meditate on them for atleast seven minutes. This mantra is based on the planet that become the ruler of Lagna. For example if the ruler of a Lagna in a native's horoscope is Surya, he should chant the mantra identified for Surya. The mantra goes like this: "Om gruni Surya Athithyaaya mama karma prakaasaaya prakaasaaya sathyam bruhi bruhi swaaha". This is for Simha lagna Astrolger. If he does it he will be able to see all the hidden facts in the horoscope.

For other rulers, the Athithya nama alone is given below:

For Moon:      Mitra Athithyaaya.
For Mars:       Vivaswaan Athithyaaya
For Mercury:   Athithyaaya
For Jupiter:     Vishnu Athithyaaya
For Venus:      Ravi Athithyaaya
For Saturn:       Varyna Athithyaaya
For Rahu:        Bagha Athithyaaya
For Ketu:         Baskara Athithyaaya

Any one can chant these mantras if they know their lagna using the lagna lord's name. This they can do whenever they do some important activities. They will be successful in their activity.

So if your Lagna is Danur and if you want to start an important activity, chant the following before starting your activity:

"Om gruni Vishnu Athithyaaya mama karma prakaasaaya prakaasaaya sathyam bruhi bruhi swaaha".
