Possibilities of Second Marriage

In the present day situation there are many commercial, physical, financial reasons for a quck divorce. Men should understand that nowadays women are brought up  in a very much independent thinking with lot of education and much awareness. They watch movies liberally, they read newspapers they know about women’s freedom etc., but at the same time let us find out some common afflictions in the horoscopes which lead to separation and a possible remarriage.
  • The houses that should be carefully studied for family union or separation are 2nd, 7th, and 11th in addition Lagnam and Venus. 2nd house signifies family, 7th house signifies the first spouse and 11th house signifies the second house.
  • When the ruler of 2nd and 12th occupies the 3rd house and is / or aspected by Jupiter or 9th Lord, the native is likely to get another opportunity for a marriage since his first marriage may fail.
  •  If Lagnam, 2nd house and 7th house jointly afflicted by the presence or aspect of more evil planets and at the same tome the ruler of 7th has become inactive due to asthangatham or Neecham then there is every possibility of remarriage.
  •  If ruler of 9th is posited in 7th, ruler of 7th is posited in 4th – another Kendra and sukasthana then there is a possible remarriage.
  • If ruler of 7th and ruler of 11th are in Kendras or if they are seated in Konas and aspecting each other or even if these two have occupied a house together then they invite an opportunity for a remarriage.
  •  If Mars, Rahu or Saturn occupies 7th and 8th houses without any aspects by a good planet then there is a possibility of loss of spouse. This may indicate second marriage.
  •  If venus is debilitated either in Rasi or Navamsa or associated with a bad planet there is a possibility of remarriage. In this condition of the ruler of 7th is inactive then there is no possibility of marriage at all.
  • If both the 2nd and 7th houses are afflicted then there is possibility of loss of spouse thus creating an opportunity for remarriage.
  • If ruler of 7th is in dusthanas like 6, 8 or 12 while at the same time an evil planet like Saturn, Rahu or Mars occupy 7th house, Venus in debilitated condition has associated itself with a natural benefic planet then there is a possibility of remarriage.
  • If Venus is in even rasi and the owner of the house where Venus is seated is exalted then there is a possibility of second marriage.
  • If Mars conjoins with Venus and has occupied 7th house, lagnathipathi is in 8th house and Saturn in 12th house there is a possibility of second marriage.
  • When the ruler of 7th is in debilitation or in retrograde position when it is in exaltation he brings an opportunity for a second marriage.
  • If the 7th and 8th houses are occupied by evil planets with no good aspects and at the same tome Mars is in 12th house, the spouse will be lost thus bringing an opportunity for a remarriage.

I can hear the voice of people asking me if there are any remedial actions for this. We can do the following:

  1.  After the marriage is performed, visit an Amman Temple, remove the Thirumangalyam and deposit the same in the Hundy. Immediately conduct another marriage with a new Thirumangalyam in the Sannidhi.
  2. Create a statue of a so called spouse, conduct the first marriage, finish all the marriage rituals and then dissolve the statue in the sea. After a gap go for a fresh marriage (Remarriage) with a spouse.
  3.  In villages people still follow a ritual. They consider a plantain (banana) tree as a lady since it can give birth to another tree. They conduct a marriage with the tree, cut the tree, make it as if the first wife is dead and then remarry with a human spouse (only for men). Please see the logic behind it.
  4. The best remedy is face the facts.

Badhaka Part III - Some Thoughts

I have given some more thoughts on Badhaka in this part.

One should always remember Rahu is the natural Badhaka. He owns the 11th house. The 11th house is the top point of Kama Trine (3, 7 and 11). In the chart of Kala Purusha, the starting point is Mesha. Rahu owns 11th house. So for Chara Rasis the 11th house is Badhakasthana. Move the Lagna (Starting Point) by one house in the clockwise direction.  So also move Rahu  by one house. You know Rahu / Ketu moves in the anti-clockwise direction. So move it in the reverse direction. Count the houses from Lagna. It is 9. So for all sthira Rasis 9th house is Badhakasthana. Again move the lagna by one house. Move Rahu by one house in the reverse direction. For all chara-chara (Upaya) sthanas the badhakasthana is the 7th house.

So we should know that Badhakam is mainly identified with the association of Rahu. It is nothing but the curse of Sarpa Deva. Do not imagine that people have obtained the wrath of Sarpa (Snake). If you find in the epics Sarpa is identified with Adhishesha. The Seat of Lord Vishnu who is the mother of all creations is Adhishesha. The one that sits on the head of Lord Shiva is a Sarpa. If you go to a Shiva Temple you will always see Lord Shiva in the form of Lingam (Nirguna Brahmam) is always seen with a Sarpa performing an umbrella posture to Him. This shows that our Hindu system has given a very important place to Sarpa Deva. If onegets the wrath of such important person, it clearly indicates that he incur the wrath of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva Themselves. Certainly he will face hurdles, obstructions etc., during the period of Badhakathipathi. The troubles will be more when
·         Badhakathipathi is in the star of Rahu.
·         Badhakathipathi is aspected, or conjoined by Rahu.
Generally Rahu, if placed in Lagna, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th and 12th houses it is identified as Rahu Dosha. When Rahu gets associated with Badhakathipathi the problems are more.

You may be knowing our ladies of yester years will be sprinkling milk for ant-hill (In Tamil we call it as புற்று மண் } which will normally be found in Kali or Mariamman temples during Fridays especially during the month of Aadi (Ashada) and Thai (Makara).

The following remedies are prescribed in old and traditional Astrology Books like Prasna Marga.

·         If Rahu is placed in 6th, 8th, 10th or Badhaka houses Sarpa Bali as per prescribed texts are to be performed. This is normally done at Rameswaram.
·         If Rahu is in 4th house installation of an image of a sarpa devatha is to be done in a Shiva Temple. This is also done at Rameswaram.
·         If Rahu is in 12th house, arrange music and dance programmes during a festival at a temple.
·         Rahu in Lagna needs sprinkling of milk on a Sarpa deity or ant hill in a temple.
·         Rahu in 5th house is to be balanced with a Thila Tharpanam at Rameswaram.
·         Rahu in second house is to be balanced with Abishekam to a Sarpa Deity at a Temple.
·         Rahu in 7th house is to be balanced by arranging Dance programme and devotional songs at a temple during the Aadi or Thai months.
·         Rahu in Chara Rasi: Small eggs of gold or silver are offered to a Serpant Deity – symbolic of broken eggs.
·         Rahu in Sthira Rasi: Plant Trees (It is symbolic of destruction of ant hills and abodes of serpants.
·         Rahu in Chara Chara Rasi: Dedicate a small serpant made of gold or copper (Symbolic of killing the snakes).

Please note that if Rahu is in any way connected with Badhakesha the above remedies are compulsory as told in scriptures.

If Jupiter is associated with Badhakasthanathipathi and is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th houses, and Rahu is in Kendrasthana to Jupiter, then the curse is to be identified from the superior serpents. If Gulika or Mandhi is in Kendra instead of Rahu then the curse is from inferior serpents.

If Sun is associated with Rahu, then the serpents are beneficial with an intention of doing a long term good if Serpent Deities are propitiated. For example Rahu is placed in Badhaka House aspects Sun. It shows that superior serpents will help due to some good karma of the native in a past birth. This may manifest in the form of learning subjects like Medicine, Astrology and Occult Sciences. It may also indicate that if the native start practicing yoga seriously he can achieve Kundalini Yoga.

On the other hand if Moon is associated with Rahu, it shows the intent of evil minded serpants to cause trouble and disaster.

Please note that the planets in Kendra to the Badhakasthanathipathi will always help the Badhakesha. If Rahu becomes Athmakaraka and if associated with Badhakathipathi it indicates that birth is due to the curse of Serpent Deities.

The sixth Lord in 9th house or the ninth lord in 12th house or the Sun in the Sixth House indicates the displeasure of Father. Similarly the sixth lord in the fourth house or the 4th Lord in 12th House indicates the displeasure of mother. If either of them is associated with Badhakathipathi, one should do remedial measures. One should serve his / her parents if they are alive. Or one should go to Kashi Kshethra (Varanasi), carry Ganga water in a pot, add Vilvam to that and perform abishekam to Lord Kasi Viswanatha for a minimum of 3 days, then perform Shradham in Gaya, donate new clothes to elders (male for father and female for mother), provide them food, give them walking stick, chapels, bed and pillow, a fan etc along with money and seek their blessings falling at their feet.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please note that if one is not performing the pitru karma incur the wrath of dead people. If Sharadha is not performed for a soul, then the soul, according to Garuda Puranam, remains in the form of Pysasa and this affects the relatives. This is very well indicated by the presence of Gulika/ Ketu in the Badhakasthana. This is a great problem. The badhakathipathi will always cause catastrophic punishments to the native.

·         If Gulika / Ketu is in any manner associated with Mars either by conjunction or by aspect or by occupying the stars of Mars or placed in Mesha or Vrichika, the danger is sudden accidents, burn injuries, weapons or smallpox thus resulting in death,
·         If the association is with Saturn this indicates poverty and misery resulting in death.
·         If Rahu is associated with Gulika then the death may be due to snake bite or severe poison or suffering with severe pain before death.
The sign occupied with Gulika / Ketu identifies the pysasa sex and relationship also. If it is 4th house or its Lord then it is not an outsider but a relative of the native. The Astothatriamsa indicates the age of the Pysasa. It is D108 division chart. If in the beginning it indicates young age and if near the end it indicates old age. One should follow remedial measures like Shradha in Kasi Kshethra – it should be Parvana Shradha, Tila Homa etc are to be done.

If Badhakesha is associated with Lagna or lagna Lord and Gulika it is a form of Drishty Badhaka. If Badhakesha is associated with 6th or 8th house or their lords it is another form of Drishty Badhaka. If Rahu / Gulika is associated with 4th, 5th, 7th or 8th house it is another form Drishty Badhaka. In such cases, one should look for an aspect of benefic planet. If such aspect is there, then wear the stone of the benefic planet. This will help.

BADHAKA PART II

In this second part on Badhaka we are going to see the effects of Badhakathipathi positing himself in various Bavas and what is the remedial measures that can be applied to reduce the ill effects of the same. Also we will see the remedies that can be applied for various all the nine planets who don the role of Badhakathipathi.

If badhakathipathi is in Lagna, one has to accept the expenses of making a Deity and give the same to a temple or someone who performs regular pooja. If the person cannot afford it, he should atleast buy a portrait of a Deity and give it to someone who deserve it.

  • Well, a question will always crop up in the mind. WHICH DEITY? If the Planet is Sun then its Devatha Shiva. If the planet is Moon then its Devatha Gowri. If the planet is Mars then its Devatha Karthikeya or Narasimha. If the planet is Mercury then its Devatha Vishnu. If the planet is Jupiter then its Devatha Samba Shiva or Dakshinamurthy. If the planet is Venus then its Devatha Mahalakshmi. If the planet is Saturn then its Devatha Anjaneya or Ayyappa. If the planet is Rahu then its Devatha Kali or Durga. If the planet is Ketu then its Devatha Vinayaka.

  • One may think that both Rahu and Ketu do not own houses. Ketu owns Vrichika and Rahu owns Kumba. One has to find out who is stronger among Mars and Ketu. He only owns Vrichika. Similarly one has to look for the strength of Rahu and Saturn. He only rules Kumba. There is a set of principles to be applied to find out the real strength of the planets and the same is to be applied.

If badhakathipathi is in second house to Lagna, then one has to chant the Gayathri Mantra or Moola Mantra of the Deity. If it is Sun 6,000 times. If it is Moon 10,000 times. If it is Mars 7,000 times. If it is Mercury 17,000 times. If it is Jupiter 16,000 times. If it is Venus 20,000 times. If it is Saturn 19,000 times. If it is Rahu 18,000 times. If it is Ketu 7,000 times.

If badhakathipathi is in 3rd house one has to worship the Deity daily. This is must during the Dasa and Antar Dasa of the Badhakathipathi.

If the badhakathipathi is in 4th house one has to support renovation of a temple.

If the badhakathipathi is in 5th house, one has to give oil, clothes, flower etc to the temple. He also should support for Neivedhanam at the temple.

If the badhagathipathi is in 6th house, one has to support someone who is sick and need help for medication. Also one has to donate or support a service orgabisation.

If the badhakathipathi is in 7th house, one has to perform Kalyana Uthsavam at the temple and also arrange dance programmes to the Deity during some Uthsavam at the temple.

If the badhakathipathi is in 8th house, one has to worship the Deity of the Tatwa of the planet. Sun and Mars are of Agni Tatwa. Venus and Moon are of Jala tatwa. Mercury is of Prithvi Tatwa. Jupiter is of Akash Tatwa. Saturn is of Vayu Tatwa. For Rahu consider that of Saturn and for Ketu consider that of Mars.

If the badhakathipathi is in 9th house, one has to worship the Dharma Devatha of the native. This can be found from the horoscope.

If the badhakathipathi is in 10th house, one has to perform a Bali Karma. Also one has to worship Ganesa and Subramanya.

If badhakathipathi is in 11th house, one has to perform snanam in Punya theerthas like Ganges, Kavery etc. Offer Arthy at those places.

If the badhakathipathi is in 12th house, one has to arrange chanting of Bagavatham in the temples by vedic scholars.

If Badhakathipathi is Sun, remedial worship can be in the form of Abishekam.
For Moon it can be Abishekam with Conch and Milk and also Anna Dhanam.
If it is Mars: Laksha deepam.
If it is Mercury: Arranging Festivels and Dances.
If it is Mercury: Feeding Brahmins (Vedic Scholars) and priests and offering of ornaments.
If it is Venus, performing Vilakku Pooja, Feeding of Ladies (Sumangalies).
If it is Saturn, feeding the poor and oppressed persons.
For Rahu walking on Fire, Bali, Kavadi etc., Perfoming Archana with flowers in such a way that the Deity is submerged in flowers.
For Ketu, helping mentally challenged people and old persons staying in orphanage.
